Welcome to the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club!
You have found the website of one of the best clubs in Pennsylvania . Langhorne Rod and Gun holds many events throughout the year including Archery, Trap, Black Powder Muzzle Loader, Pistol, CMP / NRA Highpower Rifle, Sporting Clays, and Fishing. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our Club that we hope makes it easier for you to take advantage of all we have to offer.
If you are new to the club, visit the "About Us" page to read some club history and our mission statement. The "Facilities" page has information about all the ranges the Club has to offer. Prospective members will find answers to most questions on the "Membership" page.
The Club is open to members from 9:00am to Sunset everyday, except for scheduled Club sanctioned events (see calendar). Some ranges are reserved for special events, so be sure to consult the Calendar! Non members can view a list of upcoming activities and events on our open to the public page.
Annual LRGC Kid's Trout Fishing Derby
Come out for a great day of fishing and family fun on the club's beautiful secluded section of the Neshaminy Creek. Kids ages 3-15 are welcome to come out and try their luck reeling in one of the trout the club stocks the Neshaminy with just 3 days earlier! Prizes are awarded for boy and girl categories!
This event is open to the public! There is no admission fee for LRGC members. Non-members pay $5.00 per child (or $10 per family). Fishing gear is available for loan. Make sure to bring a lunch and refreshments.
We will be hosting a very special blood drive on April 4th 2015. Almost everyday we have a blood supply shortage in this area...about a 1/3 of the needed supply has to be flown in from the midwest daily! What makes the 4th a BIG concern for the Red Cross is it is Easter weekend and demand can spike and supply drops because of the holiday....We are asking for all possible support from our members to help reach a very high goal the Red Cross has tasked us to due...Please follow the link to sign up for a time slot to donate....If you have never given before...Make this weekend your first...the Red Cross has a ton of useful information and answers to questions about donating...Follow this link to learn more about donating. RED CROSS... Once you have made the personal decision to donate or not to donate (we understand that not everyone is ok with the process) We need one more HUGH favor....Please go to our FB events page and share this event with everyone on your friends list...Please click on the going or maybe button to stay updated about the event and help spread the word....1 pint of Blood can save up to 3 lives.....Everyone knows someone that has been in need...
Please join us for our 1st annual Easter Egg Hunt. This event is open to the public and is FREE.... April 4th 9-12 In the Green Building...

Would you really really really rather be fishing?
As the Bass Pro Shop Commercial asks.....
Well 2015 is here and I should be out fishing in March. How about you? I fish mostly freshwater but do some saltwater too. Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass and Pickerel are what I am most successful with. Trout and Stripers, I love catching them but I am not as successful with. I fish from shore, kayak fish and fish on some friends' boats.
I know LRGC has a bunch of fisherman. I would like to connect with the other fishermen in our club and see about getting us working and enjoying fishing together. Some thoughts I had are:
· Local Fishing trips to local lakes
· Camping/fishing trips in PA
· Fishing clinics/meeting to discuss tactics etc(more for off season)
· An email list that we can update each other and discuss what’s hot
So are you interested? Shoot me an email so we can try to get all of us LRGC fisherman out together in 2015.
